Jerome, Ontario

Am Bm Am E
blue screws, covered bridge, mouldy house on fire in the burbs
Am F Am E
haven't loved in this town yet but i've shared a bed, with fear

of ghosts, the mob, terrorists. and boiler about to explode
while wishes blow by, blossom flurries like snow

CHORUS:
E A G E
its been too long
E A G E
since i was safe and strong
G E
i'm here righting many wrongs
G E
finally home, in jerome

bank robber bullets i flew, fearing police
now canaries duck hummingbirds in the buzzing of bees

black beauty, brown betty, pony in the herd
donkey, you and me, still waiting on your word.
