Minutes, May 15 2011

This session took place at Jam School, Woodlawn Rd.

I thought it was fun, and useful. I find the exercise only as good as the feedback we give each other, but I thought the feedback was good. really good!

We took video too that I've posted to the facebook group.

Attendees:
Robbie, Don, Jerry, Barry, Ted, Kim.

Highlights from the set list include:
Awkward Silences, Drowning in Tears, What Love Is All About, All Out of Love, A Walk With You, Spring Comes in February

For my own song, meanwhile, I must come up with a "get over it lady" bridge so my song makes sense, plus fix the tenses, plus make more variety in the chorus melody vs. verse.  ha

S.A.C. Guelph! June 2011

Second Saturday in June!  At Noon!  Exhibition Park.

Think of it as a Hillside warm-up.

Let's have some fun and meet near the tennis courts at Exhibition Park.  There's benches there, and its protected from the wind somewhat too.  Near the swings and stuff.  C'mon, we'll find each other!

By then our S.A.C. Guelph! SongWriters Group will have had meetings at All-Together-Now, The Albion, Molly's Songwriters Open Jam, Folkway Music,Gordon Taylor Music and Jam School...  Tis the season to take it outdoors!

Please bring acoustic instruments and lawn chairs or picnic blankets to sit on, along with your songs and instruments!
